The crucial message of proper menstrual hygiene can be communicated to the adolescent girl of today through educational television programmes, qualified school nurses/health staff, motivated school instructors, and informed parents. Women’s hygiene-related behaviour during menstruation is extremely important since it affects their health by making them more susceptible to diseases of the reproductive system (RTI).
