The inflammation of the female reproductive organs is known as pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). It usually happens when bacteria from your vaginal area move to your uterus, fallopian tubes, or ovaries.
Pelvic inflammatory illness might have minimal or mild signs and symptoms.
Pelvic inflammatory illness can have subtle indications and symptoms that are difficult to detect. Some women show no signs or symptoms at all. When PID is present, pain, odd or copious vaginal discharge, and unusual bleeding are the most common indications and symptoms.
