Producing human milk is a common process as lactation. In pregnant people, lactation naturally occurs and is hormone-driven. When hormonal changes occur during pregnancy, the mammary glands are asked to start producing milk in order to get ready for the birth of their child. People primarily lactate in order to nourish a baby. In order to nourish a newborn child, lactation is a biological, hormonal response that takes place both during and after pregnancy. The process of lactation is triggered by a number of hormonal occurrences that start when you’re pregnant.
In today’s episode, we will cover the process and we’ll talk more about lactating mothers too!
