Breast feeding- step up, educate & support benefits mothers as well as infants. For the majority of newborns, breast milk is the best source of nutrients. Breast milk adapts as a baby grows to match his or her dietary requirements. Additionally, breastfeeding can aid in preventing some diseases and illnesses for both the mother and the child. When you breastfeed, you typically give your baby breast milk straight from your breast. Nursing is another name for it. It’s a personal decision whether or not to breastfeed. It’s also one that will probably provoke reactions from relatives and friends. Whether your infant prefers short, frequent meals or longer feedings will determine how frequently you should nurse. This will alter as your child gets older. For the vast majority of infants, especially premature and ill newborns, breast milk offers the finest nourishment. However, there are a few uncommon circumstances in which breast milk or breastfeeding is not advised.
In today’s episode, we will cover how breastfeeding needs to be normalized and talked about more openly and support new mothers on their journey of motherhood!
