Menstruation friendly practices in school
Date & Time: 6 pm, Tuesday, 28th September 2021
Menstruation still remains a topic to be addressed openly even in the 21st century. And because the topic of menstruation remains unaddressed, it’s difficult for girls and women to talk about their needs openly. The most affected category remains the young girls who have been groomed up in an environment where they cannot voice their needs related to periods. Girls do not talk about it openly which sometimes leads to them compromising with the bare minimum menstrual facilities available in schools. But with changing times, schools have made providing menstrual friendly practices to kids a priority. Join our PinkTalk session and learn more about the things done in schools to make menstruation easier for young girls.
