Haemorrhoids, often known as piles, are swellings in or near your bottom that contain swollen blood vessels (the rectum and anus). Piles can affect anyone; they are not solely associated with pregnancy. Because of the hormones that induce your veins to relax while you’re pregnant, piles might develop. Hemorrhoids, or enlarged veins in the anus and rectum, are a common complication of pregnancy, particularly in the third trimester when the growing uterus puts pressure on the veins. Hemorrhoids may cause discomfort. Additionally, they could bleed, itch, or sting, particularly during or right after a bowel movement. Hemorrhoids can be another another unwelcome discomfort during pregnancy, when your body is undergoing a variety of physical changes.

In today’s episode, we will look more about this and the solutions for it!
