Role of age and infertility
Date – 19th May 2022
Day/Time- Thursday, 5 PM

A woman is born with her entire lifetime’s worth of eggs. Her eggs deteriorate in both quality and quantity as she grows older. The most significant factor influencing a woman’s fertility is her age. While good health increases a woman’s chances of becoming pregnant and having a healthy baby, it cannot compensate for the impacts of age on her fertility.

When a woman is in her early 30s, her fertility begins to decline, and it becomes even more so after the age of 35. The chances of becoming pregnant in any monthly cycle at the age of 40 are roughly 5%

Let’s find out through our next PinkTalk session more about the core relation between age and infertility.

Name- Dr Arshi Iqba, Senior infertility, and laparoscopic surgeon
